The best of Iceland in 4 days – A Travel Guide for First timers

The best of Iceland in 4 days – A Travel Guide for First timers

Reykjavik

We decided to spend it our last night, party and explore the following day before catching our 3pm flight. Reykjavik is a beautiful city full of funky northern architecture but after seeing breath taking scenery all over the country, you’ll probably get bored of the city fairly quickly so half a day is more than enough time. The most iconic building is the Hallgrímskirkja church. We went to a local café to try to cure our hungover before heading back.

We could have driven further west but that part of the country was flooded and there was no access to it, just know that it’s possible. We also had an overnight flight on our way there, without sleep so we would usually start our day around 10am to make sure that we were well rested. You could potentially squeeze in a few more attractions to see… Happy Exploring!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this post and lemme know what was your favourite part about Iceland in the comment section down below!! Xo
